Who is allowed to drive a quad?
Anyone in possession of a B driving license may drive a quad. Young people between 16 and 18 years old need an A1 driving license. Young people are not allowed to transport passengers, even if they are in possession of an A1 driving licence. Please bring your valid driver’s license on the day of the excursion.
How can I book an excursion?
Check out the quad excursions on our website. You can request an excursion by e-mail or call us. For each excursion you can fill in the request form online, or send an e-mail to: info@etnaquad.it.

To confirm your reservation, a deposit of 20% of the total amount of the excursion may be required. You can pay this via PayPal or by bank transfer.
After approval of the excursion you have to print out the contract yourself and take it with you on the day of the excursion.

Where should I be on the day of the excursion?
The excursion starts from Rifugio Ragabo. Rifugio Ragabo is located above Linguaglossa on Via Mareneve. From Linguaglossa it is about 15 km up Mount Etna.

We ask you to arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of the excursion. Don’t forget to bring the signed and completed rental contract and your driving license!
How to get to Etna Quad?
There is no public transport to our starting point. The only way to get to us is by car. We suggest to rent a car. Another option is a taxi. If you take a taxi, don’t forget to mention the waiting time, while you are on the tour. They might quote for this as well. There is enough parking space at our starting point (Rifugio Ragabo, Linguaglossa – Etna Nord).
How can I cancel or change my reservation?
It is possible to change* or cancel your excursion up to 3 days before the excursion. In this case any deposits made will be fully refunded.
If you want to cancel the tour within 3 days before the excursion, the deposit will not be refunded.
* The date and time of the excursion can be changed according to our availability.
Will the tour take place in bad weather?
Our excursions (tours) take place only as long as the safety of the participants can be guaranteed in the weather conditions. If the weather forecast is uncertain, you can always contact us by phone or via WhatsApp to see if the excursion can take place.

If your tour is cancelled due to bad weather, you will always be refunded the full amount of the tour or deposit.
